Exodus 35-40

Father God, we thank you for Your love and grace. Holy Spirit give us understanding and revelation as we read the chapters from the. book of Exodus and share the Word In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

First of all, I want to say thank you for diligently following through as we have been sharing from the book of Exodus since the beginning of the year. I cannot believe it is already 31 December! One thing for sure is God is love and the nature of God does not change. It remains the same from generation to generation. Hebrews 13:8 tells us that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever". Hallelujah.

In the above titled chapters (which I also encourage you to check out in your Bible), we see the long awaited tabernacle coming to life. In previous chapters, we saw how God commanded Moses by sharing with him the specific details of how the tabernacle should be built, the articles and the offerings of the tabernacle (Exodus 35) and the skilled artisans and craftsmen that would build it (Exodus 35:30).

At the end of everything, Exodus 39:42-43 tells us, "According to all that the LORD had commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did all the work. Then Moses looked over all the work, and indeed they had done it; as the LORD commanded, just so they had done it. And Moses blessed them." In this aspect, we can see that Moses was a faithful and obedient servant of the LORD who performed all that the LORD had commanded him.

Exodus chapters 35-40 also show us that nothing can either interrupt or interfere with God's plan especially for His sons and daughters. In the book of Exodus, we see that God raised up people that would be able to help Moses to fulfill his purpose as the leader of the children of Israel to the promised land. For example, the LORD God raised up people like Aaron and his sons who were would be the designated priests who would minister on the people's behalf (Exodus 40:15). In Exodus 36:3-7, we also see that the children of Israel gave free will offerings for the building of the tabernacle to the point that Moses had to put an end to it all as they were more than enough materials for the craftsmen to build the tabernacle. Ultimately, we see that all things worked together to ensure that the tabernacle was strictly built according to God's pattern and to serve His purposes.

This brings me to Psalm 127:1 that tells us, "Unless the LORD builds a house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain." God is interested that we build foundations according to His pattern and not based on our own works, interests and efforts.

God will always bless what has been built by Him and according to His pattern. Exodus 40:34 portrays this well, "Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle."

Today, God tells us that He no longer dwells in physical temples made with hands (Acts 17:24) or in tabernacles. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, He comes to live on the inside of you. As result, our bodies are the temple of God because we have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us (1 Corinthians 16:9) and our foundation is the precious blood of Jesus Christ. In addition, we have Jesus Christ as a compassionate High Priest who is always praying on our behalf to God, the Father.

Hebrews 4:14-16 says, "Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tested as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

Prayer: Father God, we thank you that You are love and are able to sympathize with all our weaknesses. Thank you Abba for Your mercy that encourages us to come boldly through Your One and Only Son Jesus Christ because there is no condemnation for we who are in Christ Jesus. We thank you LORD God that You are an ever present help in times of need and right now I stand in agreement with everyone who needs your grace at this particular moment whether its for intervention in their family, health, finances, security and status, I ask that You supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus while you uproot whatever that is not of Christ Jesus in our lives, homes, neighborhoods, churches, ministries, provinces and nations In the Name of Jesus. We speak peace, unity and reconciliation in the world In the name of Jesus. We ask that leaders of nations are reconciled to the plans and purposes that You have for the establishment of Your Kingdom here on earth. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven concerning the purposes and destinies of Your sons and daughters In the name of Jesus. May the precious blood of Jesus Christ continually speak greater things concerrning our well-being more than the blood of Abel that speaks vengeance. May you exceed our expectations in the year 2025 with mind blowing miracles and permanent settlement into the promised land You have prepared for each one of us, In the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you Abba Father. Thank you LORD. Thank you Holy Spirit. Thank you Abba that 2025 is a great year and at the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God, the Father. Hallelujah.

We worship you LORD God, may Your Holy name be magnified ancient of days. We say thank you for all that You are and all that You have been and will always be to Your creation. We say open up ancient gates, open up ancient gates and let the King glory in. Who is the King of glory, the LORD strong and mighty, the LORD invincible in battle, open up ancient gates, open up ancient doors and let the King of glory in, who is the King of glory, the LORD of Heaven's Armies, He is the King of glory. Hallelujah, Amen.

This brings us to the end of the book of Exodus! - HALLELUJAH, GLORY TO GOD.

Invitation to salvation: If you would like to know the LORD God who from the beginning of creation has always desired to commune with you, dwell on the inside of you to provide wisdom, knowledge, light and be included in the blessings of Christ Jesus as His son and daughter with Him as your loving Father - I invite you to make this confession, "I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour today and forever." AMEN.

Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17). To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen. Feel free to reach out to us on info@bibleversionoflife.com. We would love to hear your story! God bless you.
